Baby Intelligence: "He can read minds?"
Annabeth Black: "Just like Bartholomew Gales, you have no subtlety, child. You do not understand fine distinctions. Only Fobbles talk of 'mind-reading'. Annabeth Black explains "mind-reading" to Baby Intelligence[src]

Mind-reading is the ability to perceive the thoughts or feelings of others through extrasensory means. According to Annabeth Black, this term is used only by Fobbles and is a notably inaccurate description of mind control[1] (as there are far broader possibilities for this ability). Nonetheless, the art of mind control can achieve mind-reading, as could the mental connection that was shared by Baby Intelligence and his enemies.
