Link was the Captain of the Guard under Mella Montgomery, who was the infamous crime lord from China. During the Skirmish in the Palace of Despair, however, she was killed in an explosion and her criminal reign came to an end.
Link hailed from China, a country in Asia, where he lived for his entire life. Link became the Captain of the Guard at a young age, after his mistress, Mella Montgomery, became a powerful and influential crime lord. Like Montgomery, he rooted for the Knights of Meyer. He was also the best man at the wedding of Mella and Shan Montgomery.
When Master Intelligence and the other members of the S.M.S.B. were captured by Imperial scouts and brought to the Palace, Mella Montgomery learned that Shan Montgomery was one of them, causing her to panic. Mella interrogated and whipped Lindsay Kellerman, before ordering Link to torture her with lightning. Although Link complied, Lindsay still did not confirm Shan’s death under unbearable pain. But Mella thought that they had crippled him and thus he was sent to the hospital, so she summoned Ida from her quarters to tell her if Shan Montgomery was dead at all. After Ida confirmed this, and Sir Roast was killed, Master Intelligence and Telekinibabe escaped the cellar and proceeded up the stairs to aid Lindsay.
Upon being disarmed, Mella threatened Kellerman with her knife, demanding that the prisoners drop their swords, and then told Link to fetch her sword for her. However, George Thames II teleported and created a diversion, during which time Retrowoman killed Montgomery. As the group escaped, Link hurled a series of anvils into the teleportation vortex, killing Thames II in the process.
Link was 2.06 meters tall and was quite slender.
Personality and traitsEdit
Link was a brash and sadistic man with brutal tendencies. He was intelligent, but could be easily distracted, and had a fierce and dangerous temper. He was immensely proud of his rank as Captain of the Guard, and took said rank seriously. Link was egotistical and arrogant, described by Master Intelligence as “treat[ing] everyone like scum.” However, he was still very intelligent and was very learned of the dark side. He was very decisive and ruthless as well.
