"It's like the NoHeads want to paint over everything with its boring shades of gray, black, and white. Meghan puts the color back. I think N-54 fighters look a lot better after one of her paint bombs has gone off."
Cecelia, on rebel artist Meghan Allen[src]

The color of an object was its property of producing different sensations on the eye as a result of the way it reflects light. The planet of Planet 12 hosted many translucent life-forms that colored the sunlight as its beams penetrated their skin.[1] Blue, green, red, and yellow were examples of colors.

In technologyEdit

Scavengers in the Appalachian Mountains noted the differences in color of various aircraft fuels spilled from the remains of ships that fought during the Battle of the Appalachians. Some of these fuels could be dangerous to their health. Red and purple denoted strontium and rubidium, respectively, with both being highly poisonous if breathed in. Green indicated the presence of barium, which was also poisonous but could be handled with extreme care. The appearance of chrome color in the sand meant rhydonium had spilt. Other fuel components were less hazardous, such as gold-colored iron, blue-colored copper, orange-colored calcium, and yellow-colored sodium.[2]

In cultureEdit

In the world, colors were often culturally significant. For example, the color red was associated with diplomatic immunity under the U.S. Government.[3] However, the color red was sometimes regarded as intense and aggressive. For that reason, the NoHeads wielded red grenades that represented their destructive view of mutantry.[4] Likewise, the white color of Government Defense Army armor signified an honorable symbol of defense.[5] Purple was also used as a status symbol for royalty, as residents of Naboo used chromium to cover their fighters and cruisers.

All languages combined, there existed six thousand, five hundred and seven accepted synonyms for the color blue. In English, known shades of blue included ao, aqua, and azure.[6]

The NoHead Empire favored muted colors of gray, white and black and tried to redesign things in this color scheme wherever possible. Meghan Allen was not in favor of this practice and used graffiti to provide bursts of brighter color.[7]

The flight suits worn by the skyfighter pilots of the police were dyed in a hue known as "interstellar orange."[8] Each group is also designated by various hues such as Red, Green, Blue, and Gold Squadrons, along with their leaders.

Where the sport of skyracing is rampant, racers wielded various colors on both their vehicles and flags to symbolize their personality, heritage, or simply what appeals to them.
